Job summary

Southeast Addiction Center Nashville LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support medical providers with clinical coordination, medication management, patient care, and administrative nursing tasks. This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

The ideal candidate will have an active LPN license, about one year of nursing experience, and proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or outpatient settings is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and advance daily clinical operations.
• Coordinate scheduling for medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Record patient vital signs accurately.
• Collect and process urine drug screens.
• Assist with medication ordering, refills, prior authorizations, and reconciliation.
• Monitor medication inventory and inform providers of concerns.
• Support FMLA, STD, and other documentation processes.
• Coordinate lab orders and relay results to providers.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with providers, nursing, and admin staff.
