Southeast Addiction Center Nashville is seeking an LPN to support medical providers with clinical coordination, medication management, patient care, and nursing tasks within a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has an active LPN license, strong organizational skills, and experience or interest in behavioral health and addiction medicine. EHR proficiency and independent work within a multidisciplinary team are important assets.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, primary care, or outpatient settings is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Ability to work independently while functioning within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with daily clinical operations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Perform and document patient vital signs.
• Collect and process urine drug screens.
• Assist with medication ordering, medication refills, prior authorizations, and medication reconciliation.
• Monitor medication inventory and communicate medication-related concerns to providers.
• Assist patients with FMLA, STD, and other medical paperwork.
• Coordinate laboratory orders and communicate results to providers when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to ensure continuity of care.
• Respond to patient questions and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies.
