Job summary

Freeman Recovery Center, LLC in Dickson, TN is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a supportive behavioral health team. You will administer medications, monitor patients, document in EMR, and collaborate with RNs and providers to deliver structured, compassionate care outside high-acuity hospital settings.

Ideal candidates have active TN LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

Active LPN license in good standing with Tennessee.
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
CPR and First Aid/AED certification required.
Ability to accurately document in an EMR.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

Measure and document patient vital signs and general health observations.
Monitor patient conditions and report concerns to supervising RN or medical provider.
Administer medications as ordered and within LPN scope (oral, IM, SQ, SL).
Supervise medication administration as assigned and in accordance with facility policy.
Observe for adverse medication reactions; document in EMR.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR.
Assist with basic wound care and patient health education as directed.
Support chart completion and documentation accuracy.
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and program staff to support patient safety and care continuity.
Follow Freeman Recovery Center policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
Complete required training and ongoing education.
