Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking a Loss Control Field Inspector to conduct inspections on commercial or residential properties. This part-time/occasional role offers flexible scheduling and home-based work with required travel within your territory.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, basic digital skills, and reliable transportation. Compensation includes per-inspection pay, on-the-job training, and weekly base pay with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Competent use of a digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (NEIS guidelines).
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Job will be based from home with required travel to each inspection location in your territory.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury and property damage limits as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties.
• Identify risks to reduce the chance of accidents through manual rules and company standards.
• Prepare a schedule to maximize time and ensure timely service.
• Communicate with insured by phone, email, and text to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey and identify current issues or hazards.
• Prepare reports with multiple photos after inspections.
• Share survey status via internal progress reports.
