Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to perform inspections at commercial or residential properties. This role is part-time/occasional, with hours varying week to week, and you set your own schedule from a home base with travel to inspection sites within your territory.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying risks, preparing surveys with photos, and reporting findings.

Qualifications

• Competent use of a digital camera, word processing and e‑mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record per NEIS guidelines.
• Must live within 30‑mile radius of territory.
• Home-based role with travel to inspection locations within your territory.
• Automobile insurance with bodily injury limits at or above $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections of commercial or residential properties.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to identify risks to reduce accidents.
• Prepare schedules to maximize time efficiency and meet service targets.
• Communicate with insured via phone, email, and text to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey to identify issues or hazards.
• Prepare reports with multiple photos after inspections.
• Share survey status through internal progress reports.
