Job summary

NEIS is seeking part-time Loss Control Field Inspectors to perform inspections on commercial or residential properties. The role is based from home with travel to inspection locations within the assigned territory and involves coordinating appointments via phone, email, and text.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying risks, preparing schedules, and compiling reports with photos. Compensation is per inspection with weekly pay and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Competent use of a digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to identify risks to reduce the chance of accidents.
• Prepare a schedule to maximize optimal use of time and to ensure timely service.
• Correspond with insured via phone, email and text to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey to identify current issues or hazards.
• Prepare required reports with multiple pictures and communicate survey status via internal progress reports.
