Job summary

NEIS, part of ARMStrong Insurance Services, is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to perform inspections on commercial or residential properties from home.

Hours vary week to week and you set your own schedule. Requires travel within your assigned territory; you must live within 30 miles. Valid driver’s license and insurance are required; mileage and production pay are provided, with on-the-job training and weekly base pay.

Qualifications

• Competent use of digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (based on NEIS guidelines).
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Home-based role with required travel to inspection locations within territory.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury limits as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on commercial or residential properties.
• Identify risks to reduce the chance of accidents.
• Prepare schedules to maximize time and meet service targets.
• Coordinate with insured via phone, email and text to set appointments.
• Complete a loss control survey and document issues with photos.
• Report survey status via internal progress reports.
