Qualifications

Wake Preparatory Academy - Elementary is currently accepting applications for a Long Term Substitute. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

The Substitute teacher temporarily takes over classroom instruction and management in the absence of the regular teacher. They maintain an inclusive classroom atmosphere, and support students’ educational progress across various grade levels and subjects. Substitute teachers may be contacted for same-day, short-term, or long-term assignments, depending on school needs. This is a part-time position, and Substitutes are utilized on an as-needed basis.
