ArcBest invites an Intern in Solution Design and Implementation to participate in fast-track training across transportation, logistics, and supply chain disciplines. You will shadow roles in Enterprise Customer Solutions during the first month and deliver a project addressing consolidation, pool distribution, and mode optimization.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business, or Engineering, with no prior experience necessary.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and Logistics, Business, or Engineering Major, preferred.
• Completed Junior academic year, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete fast track training on transportation, logistics, and supply chain within the ArcBest business.
• Job shadow various roles within Enterprise Customer Solutions within the first 4 weeks.
• Manage a key project during the internship that is focused around supply chain solutions including consolidation, pool distribution, mode optimization, and process improvement.
• Develop a solution designed to meet requirements of various departments, customers, and ArcBest subsidiary companies.
• Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.
