We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation & Logistics / Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This paid internship provides hands‑on experience in transportation operations, logistics, fleet management, shipment coordination, and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities
- Assist with daily transportation and logistics operations.
- Help coordinate shipments, deliveries, pickups, and transportation schedules.
- Monitor shipments and assist with tracking loads and delivery status.
- Support dispatch and transportation planning activities.
- Assist with maintaining accurate transportation and shipment records.
- Review operational data and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Assist with scheduling drivers, equipment, and resources.
- Help monitor key performance indicators related to transportation and supply chain operations.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments as needed.
- Help investigate and resolve shipment, delivery, or scheduling issues.
- Participate in process-improvement and cost-reduction projects.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in transportation and supply chain operations.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous transportation, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
