The Literacy Specialist collaborates with Site Directors and staff to implement curricula, prepare materials, and ensure safety and instructional quality in a multi-site program environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College credits/degrees preferred.
• Experience working with children strongly preferred.
• Broad knowledge of literacy curriculum and current trends.

• Build strong relationships with and among students.
• Teach or co-lead daily activities.
• Establish clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects and communicate them to students.
• Prepare materials for daily activities.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs and interests.
