Job summary

Hanley Foundation is a West Palm Beach-based non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating addiction through prevention, treatment, advocacy and recovery support. We are seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our growing team at our substance use/mental health treatment facility (20 hours per week).

The Line Cook will prepare, cook, portion, and serve meals following established menus, recipes, and safety standards to support quality food service operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary degree or 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Valid ServSafe/Food Handler certificate required.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive between buildings.
• Must be 21+ years old; 1 year sobriety if in recovery is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and serve menu items per recipes and standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain sanitary work area and food storage practices.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment according to policies.
• Adhere to food safety and health regulations; monitor temperatures.
• Support events and special facility needs as required.
