Job summary

The Hotel at Arundel Preserve invites an Experienced Cook to join our culinary team. You will work on the line, execute prep, ensure food safety, and craft plated dishes that meet our luxury standards. This role reports to the Executive Chef and requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

We seek 2+ years in a professional kitchen, solid knife skills, and a Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one. Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (hotel or upscale dining preferred).
• Solid knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.
• Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute prep and line cooking duties with speed, skill, and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
• Adapt to changing menus, dietary needs, and special events.
• Own your station—mise en place, timing, and presentation.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with chefs, servers, and support staff.
• Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
