Evolve Senior Living seeks a Line Cook - Part Time to support the kitchen in delivering high-quality meals to residents and guests. You will handle ingredients, prep work, and efficient cooking under the Sous Chef's guidance in a fast-paced environment.

This part-time role requires reliability, teamwork, and basic cooking skills. A positive attitude and commitment to food safety will help you succeed and grow with our team.

Formación

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong command of English reading and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Completes all hours of state mandated continuing education each year.
• Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in performance of daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
• Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
• Promotes the property in a positive manner and effectively communicates the organization's values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community.
• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations.
• Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
• Preparing and operating kitchen equipment for shift.
• Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system.
• Cooking order according to food health and safety standards.
• Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.
• Handling multiple food orders at one time.
• Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive.
• Dressing order for presentation.
• Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.
• Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner.
• Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils.
• Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed.
• Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned, including Weekly Dishwasher Shifts.
