Job summary

Family Entertainment Group is seeking a part-time Cook to prepare a variety of menu items in accordance with company recipes and safety guidelines. You will work alongside the Kitchen Manager and team to ensure timely, high-quality dishes and a positive guest experience.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year kitchen experience, basic English communication, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. This on-site position participates in opening, operating, and closing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• At least 1 year of kitchen experience in a similar role.
• Ability to understand and speak the predominant language of guests.
• Effective communication with managers and kitchen personnel.
• Ability to reach, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).

Responsibilities

• Refer to the daily prep list for assigned duties.
• Follow standard portion sizes and quality standards.
• Adhere to company recipes and plate presentations.
• Prepare and cook food items to order with quality and timeliness.
• Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and assist opening/closing procedures.
• Organize and prepare workstations for the shift.
• Process and manage food tickets efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain food quality during service.
• Train new kitchen staff and work as part of a team.
