Job summary

Era Living is seeking a part-time Driver for the Ida Culver House Broadview Community in Seattle, WA. The driver will support the Life Enrichment team with transportation to activities and appointments, assist residents in and out of vehicles, and help with light group activities.

Availability is Thursday and Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. Requirements include a WA driver license (25+), CPR/First Aid certification or eligibility, and successful completion of caregiver trainings within set timelines.

Qualifications

• WA state driver's license required; must be 25+ years old
• CPR/First Aid certified or able to obtain within 30 days
• Complete dementia and mental health caregiver training within 120 days
• Complete 70-hour long-term care aide training within 120 days
• Annual CEU credits required (by birthdate)
• Background check (DSHS/state) required

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents to activities and appointments
• Schedule vehicle trips and remind residents of events
• Perform basic maintenance and care of community vehicles
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and escort as needed
• Lead or assist in resident group activities as required
