Job summary

A senior living community in Cleveland is looking for a full-time driver to assist residents with transportation and support in-house activities. This entry-level position requires a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift over 50 lbs. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Driver Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
