Job summary

The Pines at Placerville is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse for the NOC shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM). You will provide compassionate, high-quality resident care in a safe, supportive environment while maintaining strict nursing standards.

This role requires an active California LVN license, CPR, graduation from an approved LVN program, and strong teamwork. You will lead CNAs, document care, and communicate clearly with the nursing team to support residents overnight.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unencumbered California LVN license.
• CPR certification.
• Graduation from an approved LVN program.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, documentation, and resident care standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor residents' conditions, and respond promptly to changes in health or behavior.
• Lead and support the nursing team by supervising CNAs, coordinating assignments, and promoting teamwork during the shift.
• Monitor resident safety by conducting routine rounds, meeting needs, and following care plans and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication records, incident reports, and other required clinical documentation.
• Communicate shift reports and promptly notify healthcare professionals and supervisors of changes in resident condition or concerns.
• Promote quality care by following facility policies and infection prevention practices.
