Psych Associates LLC in Springfield, MO is seeking a part-time licensed therapist to provide outpatient psychotherapy during evenings and Saturdays, allowing a school-counselor to expand into private practice while maintaining a school position.

The practice serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a strong referral stream and furnished office space. compensation is production-based, with office and scheduling support provided.

Formación

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or closely related field.

Build a flexible private-practice caseload without leaving your school-based career. Psych Associates is seeking a part-time licensed therapist to provide outpatient counseling during evenings and Saturdays. This opportunity may be especially well suited for a school counselor who wants to expand into private-practice work while maintaining a school position.

We are an established private-pay behavioral health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the Springfield area. We provide a strong referral stream, furnished office space, administrative support, scheduling assistance, billing, and practice infrastructure so clinicians can focus on excellent clinical care.

Evening and Saturday appointments are among our highest-demand referral times. The clinician joining our practice can develop a consistent supplemental caseload based on personal availability and practice demand. A school counselor could maintain a regular school schedule while seeing patients on selected evenings, Saturdays, school breaks, and during the summer.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide evidence-informed outpatient psychotherapy

This is an on-site position at our Springfield office.

Requirements

Required qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field
• Current Missouri clinical license or eligibility to practice under an approved Missouri supervision arrangement
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
• Dependability and consistent availability
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and promptly
• Interest in developing and maintaining a part-time caseload
• Ability to provide in-person services at our Springfield office

A school-counselor credential by itself does not authorize clinical practice. Applicants must also hold, or be eligible for, an appropriate Missouri mental-health license.

Preferred qualifications

• Current experience as a school counselor or school-based mental-health professional
• Experience treating children, adolescents, and families
• Familiarity with school-related, behavioral, developmental, or family concerns
• Training in evidence-based or evidence-informed treatment approaches
• Availability for multiple evenings, Saturdays, school breaks, or summer hours
• Interest in developing a defined clinical specialty

Benefits

This is a part-time W-2 position with production-based compensation equal to 50% of collected professional fees. At our current private-pay rate of $150 per session, the clinician earns $75 for each completed and collected session.

Based on 50 working weeks per year, estimated annual compensation is:

• 8 sessions per week: approximately $30,000
• 10 sessions per week: approximately $37,500
• 12 sessions per week: approximately $45,000
• 15 sessions per week: approximately $56,250

Actual compensation will vary based on completed sessions, collections, cancellations, scheduling, and time away from the practice.
