Job summary

Psych Associates, a private-pay behavioral health practice in Springfield, MO, seeks a skilled therapist to build a strong caseload in a collaborative group setting. We provide referrals, furnished office space, scheduling and billing support, and no insurance-panel billing, enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.

The role offers ~30 clinical hours weekly and evening/Saturday availability. Compensation is production-based at 50% of collected fees; with a private-pay rate of $150 per

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field.
• Current Missouri license or eligibility for Missouri licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, psychologist, or other independently practicing behavioral health professional.
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
• Ability to maintain organized, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation.
• Dependability and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team.
• Comfort working in a private-pay setting.
• Ability and desire to maintain an active caseload.
• Availability for some evening and/or Saturday appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-informed outpatient psychotherapy
• Develop individualized treatment plans and review progress regularly
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with physicians, schools, family members, and other professionals when clinically appropriate and properly authorized
• Manage risk, safety concerns, and mandated-reporting responsibilities appropriately
• Maintain clear professional and ethical boundaries
• Participate in practice meetings, consultation, and professional development
• Help patients remain engaged in treatment and complete care successfully
