Texas Health Resources is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant for a part-time position at Texas Health Alliance in North Fort Worth. The PTA will assist in patient assessment, plan of care development, and delivery of therapy under supervision to meet established goals.

Requirements include an active Texas PTA license, BCLS, and an Associate's degree in PTA. Shifts include Saturdays and Sundays, contributing to high-quality patient-centered care in a hospital setting.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree completion of PTA program required.
• Texas PTA license upon hire required.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to independent patient care.

• Obtain/verify physician order for therapy and validate for appropriateness.
• Review available medical records and obtain pertinent medical history from documentation and patient report.
• Ensure that patient has given informed consent to treatment.
• Follow plan for care, or appropriate therapeutic intervention to achieve stated goals.
• Participate in discharge planning for patient.
• Demonstrates competence in the performance of individualized care based on age specific needs.
