Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Kokomo, IN is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support our senior living and assisted living residents. The role focuses on implementing therapy plans, providing direct patient care, and contributing to a collaborative care team.

You will work under Physical Therapists to monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients and families on exercises and self-care strategies. Prior PTA licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a PTA, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities with excellent communication.
• Proficient with therapy equipment, diagnostic tools, software, and EHR in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; educate patients and families on protocols.
• Collaborate with Therapists and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
