Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Moline, IL is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a welcoming assisted living community. You will provide direct patient care under Physical Therapist supervision, delivering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.

This role offers 15-20 hours per week in a senior living setting with opportunities for growth and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and dedicated support staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists. Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
