Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Philadelphia, PA team. This role requires working every other weekend from 11:00p to 7:00a in a Long-Term Structured Residence facility serving individuals with mental illness.

The LPN will administer medications, monitor vital signs, assess health concerns, and educate residents on healthy living and medication use. Ideal candidates have completed an accredited LPN program and hold PA LPN licensure, with 2 years of nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.
• Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• 1 year of mental health nursing preferred.
• 1 year in a medical facility preferred.

Position Details

The LPN will be working in a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) facility, with individuals with a mental illness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, assess for physical illnesses, and educate residents on healthy living and medication use.
