Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Beaver County group homes. You will oversee medical care for 4–6 individuals per home during shifts and travel between homes as needed to ensure physician orders, medications and treatments are carried out, while monitoring health.

The ideal candidate will have an active PA LPN license and at least one year of nursing experience, with the ability to manage clinical assessments and medication administration in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• Minimum of one year current nursing experience preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania LPN license required.
• Current PA driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical care for 4–6 individuals per home during shifts.
• Travel between Beaver County group homes as needed.
• Ensure physician orders, medications and treatments are carried out; monitor health.
• Complete clinical assessments and record seizure activity as needed.
• Administer medications and support general health monitoring.

Nurses working in our community group homes will provide oversight of medical care for 4-6 individuals per home during their shift. Nurse will travel between homes as needed. Nurses will work with the direct care staff in ensuring physician orders, medications and treatments are carried out as well as general health monitoring. Individuals are generally dependent on staff for many daily care activities, we work to increase their independence and exposure to the community.

As an LPN,you willprovide direct nursing care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities by completing clinical assessments, recording seizure activity as needed, and administering medications.

Base Pay - $29.00

Earn $31/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Additional $4.00/hr for second shift hours
