Job summary

Rite of Passage is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center in Arkansas. This role focuses on providing general health care for students, assisting with employee training on health care topics, and managing medical supplies.

The position offers $25 per hour with potential for increase based on education and experience, alongside a $1,000 bonus after Essential Skills training completion.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Meet the requirements to be an eligible driver, including holding an active Driver’s License.

Compensation

Pay: $25 per hour; may increase with level of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide general health care for students within the scope of the LPN license, including administering immunizations, assisting with TB screening, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance for students and staff.
• Assist with training employees on health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood-borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
• Assist in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.

• Current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas.

Schedule

12-hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend).
