AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Pay: $27 per hour; can increase with level of education and experience
Sign-On Bonus Offered: $1200 after 3 months; $1200 after 6 months
(Must pay back to Rite of Passage, Inc. if a year's service is not completed)

What you will do: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the AJATC medical team, and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.
To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend)
