Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the medical team on-site in Mansfield, AR. The role includes administering immunizations, vaccines, and health maintenance for students, while supporting staff training on health-related topics.

The successful candidate will hold Arkansas LPN licensure, be at least 21, pass required background checks and health screenings, and meet the driving eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN licensure in Arkansas is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Able to pass abuse registry checks; eligible to drive per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide general health care for students within the license scope.
• Administer immunizations and assist with TB screens and flu vaccines.
• Support health maintenance and training on health care topics (CPR, First Aid, etc.).

What you will do: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the AJATC medical team, and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry ~ Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License

Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend)
