Job summary

Rite of Passage at the Mansfield Juvenile Treatment Center in Mansfield, Arkansas is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our medical team. The role focuses on general health care for youth within the licensed scope, including immunizations and health maintenance.

The LPN will train staff on health topics, support prevention efforts, and assist with medical supply orders. A high school diploma and Arkansas LPN license are required, along with passing background and TB tests.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
• Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the MJTC medical team and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license.
• This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff.
• As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
• This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the medical team.
