LensCrafters in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a part-time Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and precisely fit eyewear. You will take measurements, input prescriptions, and ensure final products meet standards while aiding customers with product knowledge.

The role emphasizes using iPad/tablet tools, maintaining store appearance, and supporting the team to achieve strong Brand KPIs. Prior optical dispensing and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure as an Optician.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS and tablets.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to use iPad/tablet in sales.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take & record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail.
• Assist team with complex product needs & prescriptions.
• Accurate use of technology under time pressure with product knowledge.
• Proactive about root causes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to store policies including discounts and inventory management.
