Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL, seeks a part-time weekend clinician with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family, or Psychology. Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in Florida is required, with at least 1 year in healthcare or related settings.

You will perform biopsychosocial assessments, document progress, participate in treatment planning, and support group therapy and discharge planning for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a mental health field as listed.
• Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in Florida is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare or corporate settings.

Responsibilities

• Completes biopsychosocial assessments within 48 hours of admission.
• Documents findings, goals, interventions, and evaluations weekly.
• Attends interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and contributes to plans.
• Completes daily tasks and clinical documentation on the day of service.
• Plans and coordinates group therapy sessions and activities.
• Provides education and discharge planning involvement for patients and families.
• Supports department performance improvement and offers feedback to leadership.
