Aims Community College in Greeley, CO is seeking a Part-Time Library Technician to provide front-line library services at the Kiefer Library Circulation Desk within the Learning Commons. The role involves customer service, circulation, reserve materials preparation, interlibrary loans, and account management.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or equivalent, proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and library systems, and the ability to work independently and in a team while

Competenze

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and familiar with Windows OS.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Experience with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets).
• Experience with Slack, Zoom or other virtual meeting software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks amid interruptions.
• Ability to learn new software and equipment for job assignment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Mansioni

• Provide customer service to library users and assist with check-out/check-in and account records.
• Communicate clearly with students, staff, and faculty.
• Provide basic technology assistance to patrons (laptops, hotspots, etc.).
• Assist with interlibrary loan requests and processing library materials.
• Send billing notices and manage inventory and displays.
• Assist with programming and events in the Learning Commons.
