Maricopa County Library District is seeking a part-time Library Page at North Valley Regional Library. The role focuses on keeping materials neat and properly shelved, performing clerical tasks, and supporting day-to-day library operations.

The position requires a reliable, detail-oriented individual who can work evenings and weekends, with opportunities to gain experience in a library setting and contribute to excellent customer service.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsabilidades

• Sorts, shelves, and files library materials according to the library classification system.
• Reads shelves for accuracy and re-shelves misplaced items; shifts materials as assigned.
• Unpacks and packs boxes of books and other library materials.
• Performs routine support tasks.
• Maintains the appearance of work and public areas.
• Locates and retrieves library materials for staff or users.
• Checks in library materials using the computerized library system.
• Answers directional questions and refers customers to appropriate staff.
• Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
