Job summary

Responsibilities

• Complies with library policies, attendance, customer service, and proper use of library property.
• Sorts and organizes returned materials onto carts and shelves them in designated areas.
• Collects materials from book drop and prepares them for re-shelving.
• Searches and locates materials per request lists and other requests.
• Maintains clean patron areas and replenishes supplies.
• Prepares meeting rooms and ensures needed equipment is in place.
• Rotates/purges dated newspapers and periodicals.
• Flags materials for repair, mending or processing.
• Cleans walkways of snow and ice as needed.
