The Town of Fairfield is seeking a part-time custodian to manage building cleanliness and light maintenance across town facilities. You will clean bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, assist with meeting room setups, and perform minor repairs as needed. A valid driver's license and six months of custodial experience are preferred.

Hours total up to 19.5 per week, with potential weekend days and some weeknights. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of materials, methods and devices used in cleaning operations.
• Ability to perform routine and occasionally strenuous work.
• Must be fluent in email and text messaging and able to follow written instructions.
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a personal car for deliveries.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive and scheduled cleaning of bathrooms, garbage collection and removal; vacuuming and mopping floors, polishing furniture, dusting shelves, windows and fixtures.
• Set up and tear down of meeting rooms and equipment as required.
• Assist in routine building maintenance and minor repairs or painting as assigned.
