Job summary

Wake County Public Libraries (WCPL) is seeking part-time Library Assistants to serve community members at Richard B. Harrison, Athens Drive, and Wendell libraries in Raleigh, NC. You will assist with customer service, directing patrons, and helping with catalog use and digital resources.

Schedule includes evenings and weekends across locations. Preferred candidates have an Associate's degree or equivalent, strong communication skills, and comfort with technology.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• No prior library experience required; willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service at service desks.
• Assist patrons in locating materials and using the library catalog.
