Jobgether, on behalf of a partner library, seeks a Part-time Customer Service Assistant in the United States. You will provide direct customer service and library support, helping patrons find information and navigate resources in a welcoming community setting.

Qualifications

• One year of college or equivalent experience.
• One year of customer service in bookstore or library.
• Basic information-finding skills and access to databases.
• Familiarity with Dewey Decimal System and alphanumeric filing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move items up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons with information and reader advisory using reference services.
• Help customers locate information using catalogs and databases.
• Handle circulation tasks and data entry with automated systems.
• Collect fines and balance transactions.
• Shelve materials and maintain organized collections.
