Eligible candidates should be able to travel among branches, lift and move materials, and perform simple math.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a library is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist at the Circulation Desk by checking materials in and out, registering patrons, sorting books, and collecting fines.
• Perform routine computer inputting and assist staff on special assignments.
• Page books, periodicals, and media from shelves; sort and shelve according to system.
• Provide messenger and delivery services as needed; pack and unpack books.
