Job summary

The University of Miami's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering seeks part-time faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and lead laboratories in Robotics and Applied AI.

Responsibilities include teaching courses and conducting laboratories in Robotics and Mechatronics, Autonomous Systems and Control, Applied AI, Machine Learning, and Embedded Systems while mentoring student projects.

Qualifications

• Terminal degree in engineering or a closely related field.
• PhD with demonstrated teaching experience is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years of appropriate technical and/or teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses and lead laboratories in robotics, AI, and related ECE topics.
• Teach courses and conduct laboratories at the undergraduate and graduate level in Robotics and Mechatronics, Autonomous Systems and Control, Applied AI, ML, and Embedded Systems.
• Lead and mentor student projects and maintain up-to-date course materials and assessments.
