Part‑Time Lecturer positions are available in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Cal Poly, during the 2026‑27 academic year. Part‑time appointments are made from a pool of approved applicants, as determined by need, and contingent on funding. Responsibilities include teaching biomedical engineering courses. Candidates with extensive industry experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants from industry or universities interested in visiting positions are encouraged to apply.

Cal Poly’s Biomedical Engineering Department offers B.S. degrees in Biomedical Engineering and General Engineering. It also offers the Master of Engineering Degree in several specializations, including Biomedical Engineering; and the Master of Biomedical Engineering, as well as a specialization in Stem Cell Research.
