Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in a field relevant to the courses to be taught.
  • At least three years of professional experience in the subject area.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage a diverse student population and incorporate inclusive teaching strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate or graduate courses as assigned, delivering content in the scheduled mode (asynchronous, synchronous, bi‑chronous, in‑person, or hybrid).
  • Prepare, administer, and grade examinations, assignments, and other assessments.
  • Hold weekly office hours and provide academic advising to students.
  • Use the Canvas Learning Management System to organize course materials, assessments, and communication.
  • Contribute to faculty meetings and provide input on curriculum decisions.
  • Complete required CSU employee training, including modules on preventing discrimination and harassment, gender equity, Title IX, and health and safety.
