Job summary

Burlington Capital Properties seeks a friendly, customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant for Belmont Heights in Belmont, NC. You will welcome prospective residents, conduct tours, respond to leasing inquiries, and assist with the lease and move-in process to create an exceptional resident experience.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service or leasing experience, strong communication, and familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or RealPage.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of customer service or leasing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Familiarity with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, OneSite or AppFolio) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents and conduct engaging community and apartment tours.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Qualify applicants and assist with the leasing and move-in process.
• Prepare leases and resident documentation accurately and on time.

Leasing Consultant (Part-Time)

Belmont Heights | Belmont, NC

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team at Belmont Heights, a 176-unit conventional apartment community in Belmont, North Carolina.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Flexible schedule:
  • Three full days per week or
  • Approximately four hours per day, five days per week
• Occasional weekends as business needs require.

What You'll Do

• Welcome prospective residents and provide engaging community and apartment tours.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Qualify applicants and assist with the leasing and move-in process.
• Prepare leases and other resident documentation accurately and timely.
• Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents.
• Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
• Support resident events and community marketing initiatives.
• Maintain accurate prospect and resident information within the property management system.
• Collaborate with the property management team to provide an exceptional resident experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, sales, leasing, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with outstanding communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Comfortable learning property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, OneSite, or AppFolio.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage appointments, data entry, and multiple priorities.
• Professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk apartment communities, including climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry 20–40 pounds as needed.
• Reliable transportation required.
