Job summary

Esplanade at Artisan Lakes in Palmetto, FL, part of Troon, invites applications for a Part-Time Lead Massage Therapist / DEM. This role combines hands-on therapies with spa operations leadership, ensuring compliance and top-quality service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The Lead Massage Therapist / DEM will supervise other therapists, maintain records, and educate clients while performing Swedish, deep-tissue, hot stone, and specialty massages.

Qualifications

• Active Florida massage therapist license required.
• CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• CEU in Human Trafficking as required by state law.
• Hotel/resort spa or country club experience preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years as a professional massage therapist.

Responsibilities

• Post state board posters (e.g., Human Trafficking) as required.
• Keep facility clean and organized.
• Consult with clients to assess pain or discomfort and update medical history as needed.
• Perform Swedish, hot stone, cranial, deep-tissue, and/or sports massage.
• Adjust pressure with client feedback to ensure comfort.
• Educate clients on at-home care and provide reference materials.
• Maintain detailed treatment records for clients.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
