Job summary

Silverado St. Charles is seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide in Illinois to maintain clean linens and resident garments with care and respect. This part-time position supports a memory care community, emphasizing reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate service.

You’ll work the AM shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) on Sunday, Monday, and Friday, and you will be paid $18–$21 per hour. Silverado offers benefits and opportunities for growth, with a strong commitment to a great workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Willing to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Anticipated pay range

$18 - $21 USD
