Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach language arts for High School Equivalency (HSE) exam preparation.
• Deliver course content aligned with college curriculum standards and student learning outcomes.
• Develop syllabi, assignments and assessments reflecting current practices and ensuring course outcomes.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment for diverse learning styles.
• Use technology to enhance delivery and engagement across online, hybrid, or in-person modalities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
• Adhere to mid-term and final grade deadlines.
• Follow institutional policies, including academic integrity and accessibility.

Education

Bachelor's degree in adult education or related field

Master's degree in education related to a language arts field (preferred)
