Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Experience teaching basic through intermediate level math, reading, writing, or High School Equivalent testing preparation.

• Adhere to prescribed curriculum and standards.
• Use and develop effective teaching techniques and assessment methods, including exams.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite.
• Work effectively with a diverse population.
• Apply time‑management and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Teach in a hybrid classroom (online/in‑person).
• Employ educational technology in classroom environments.
• Apply IET/workforce programming knowledge.
• Interpret and apply educational data to program standards and benchmarks.
• Monitor student progress using online programs such as TABE, CASAS, Aztec, and WorkKeys portals.

Part‑time, temporary, non‑tenure‑track instructional position with classes typically running 8–10 weeks, 3–4 days per week, 3 hours per day. AM sessions 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and PM sessions 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., with possible schedule variations.
