Job summary

AdventHealth Winter Garden is seeking a Registered Nurse with lactation credentials to support breastfeeding families across units. The role includes private consultations, operating the breastfeeding help line, and facilitating weekly mother/baby events at lactation centers.

Requires Associate's Nursing, BLS, and a CLC or IBCLC credential; 1–2 years maternity experience preferred. Schedule is part-time (16 hours/week) in Winter Garden, FL, with Florida Level 2 background screening as required.

Qualifications

• RN required and licensed in Florida
• BLS CPR certification required
• CLC (Certified Lactation Counselor) required OR IBCLC (board-certified lactation consultant)
• Two years maternity/newborn experience preferred
• Experience teaching adults and adolescents preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports lactation centers and private consultations

• Maintains records and documentation

• Ensures supplies meet policy and directs procurement as needed
