EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Laboratory Assistant in Rochester, NY to support the laboratory manager and analysts. The role involves receiving, logging, preparing, and processing samples, with data entry into LIMS and generation of client-ready reports.

You will assist with shipping/receiving, documentation review, and client inquiries while maintaining equipment and ensuring sample integrity in a high-volume environment. This is a daytime part-time position.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Some laboratory experience is a plus.
• Experience in administration, data entry, and customer service.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Receive environmental samples and enter Chain of Custody into LIMS.
• Review paperwork for all incoming samples to ensure completeness and correctness.
• Perform quality control to ensure sample integrity.
• Coordinate and perform sample-related activities including shipping and receiving.

• Answer client questions via phone, e-mail, and in person.
