Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN on a part-time basis. You will provide expert care in a high-acuity Women’s Services unit, supporting mothers through labor, delivery, and post-partum care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, clinical excellence, and patient-centered communication in a welcoming hospital environment. Qualifications include Florida RN licensure (compact ok with 60-day activation), a nursing degree (BSN preferred) and BLS/ACLS/NRP

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or appropriate compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Previous acute care experience strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication; ability to read and follow instructions; PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of laboring moms.
• Assist in delivery, including C-Sections.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including tests and results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
