Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a Charge Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for our Women’s Services Unit. You will provide clinical leadership in a high-acuity labor and delivery setting, coordinating care for laboring moms and collaborating with an amazing team to support patient families.

The role emphasizes clinical expertise, supervision of staff, and delivering high-quality, safe care while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with physician orders.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license (or compact licensure) with FL RN active within 60 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP Certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of laboring patients.
• Assist in delivery, including cesarean sections.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records including test results.
